Project Description
Where hispanic seniors access the best health insurance options without hassle or pressure.
Problem
The Latinx community does not have the support it deserves when it comes to Medicare services. Entering a new untested market, we need to run multiple tests to validate Anhelo's value proposition in an extremely timely manner.
Solution
The creation of a brand that captures the Latinx audience and a web experience that is easy to use for users and easy to update for internal team.
Process

Anhelo is a company dedicated to providing Latinx individuals with the best Medicare plan for their needs. Established in 2020, Anhelo has been a leader in the Latinx Medicare industry from the very beginning. In order to meet the project requirements, I developed the brand, designed the website, and created the design system.

Brand

Anhelo employs vibrant colors, natural elements, and a unique typeface to evoke a sense of nostalgia among the Latinx viewers while establishing trust through wholesome images of family and tradition. ‍‍

Photography

To guarantee brand loyalty, a professional photographer was hired to develop a custom photography library and a custom photography filter was crafted to modify the colors of the images for social media viewing. This filter was specially designed to capture the essence of the Anhelo brand, emphasizing the vibrant beauty of Latinx culture while creating a sense of familiarity and belonging. Moreover, the filter was used to enhance the images, making them more visually appealing to the Latinx audience and increasing the chances of the brand being remembered and valued.‍‍‍‍

Website

The website was designed and built to be completely elastic and flexible, allowing content writers to generate pages without the need for development teams' involvement. This was achieved by applying atomic design principles, which allowed for the creation of dynamic pages using functional components. By doing this, Anhelo has been able to provide a great user experience for Latinx individuals looking to find the right Medicare plan for their needs and has helped to make the process easier and simpler than ever before.‍‍‍‍

Design Elements
Results

After a successful brand launch, Anhelo became one of the leading names in the space. The website was established as a Spanish Medicare knowledge center that is specifically tailored to Latinx audience. Overall, the project was determined a big success. Anhelo's flexibility when it comes to running rapid tests without design or development dependencies has made it a testing ground for best-practices. Due to it's dynamic build, Anhelo continuously produces UX and market learnings informing and influencing product decisions across the entire organization.
